How do I book an appointment?

To start, select an artist you would like to work with, or give us a call to discuss a good fit for your design in mind.

If it is a medium to large piece we recommend a free in person consultation before booking an appointment. During this consultation you will go over the design elements and collaborate with the artist for a final product, as well as discuss placement, pricing and any other questions you may have.

From there you can book in person, or by calling the shop and leaving a non-refundable deposit (this goes towards the tattoo cost at check-out.)

For small things (1-3 inches) that can be done under an hour, you can book via our website and pick a time that works for you.

Do you take walk ins?

We will accommodate walk ins whenever possible! Feel free to call the shop ahead of time to check if we have available time on the day of.

Do you have a shop minimum for tattoos?

Yes, our shop minimum is $100.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes we do! Feel free to stop by the shop to pick one up.

We can also mail it to you if you order online through our store, or over the phone.

Can I bring my child to my appointment with me?

We ask that you try your best to find a sitter for any little ones, as no one under the age of 18 is allowed unattended in the lobby!

Small children are not allowed in the tattoo rooms unless already discussed with your artist to okay.

Children are not permitted in the piercing room unless they are the ones getting pierced. If you bring your children with you to your appointment, we ask that you bring at least one other adult to watch them in the lobby, or you will be asked to leave.

Do you offer piercings?

Yes we do! Mynx is here Wednesday through Saturday, and some occasional Sundays.

Do you pierce children’s earlobes?

Yes! The youngest we will pierce is 7 years old. We will need the full length version of the child’s birth certificate, as well as parent ID at the time of service.

Do other piercings have age restrictions?

Certain types of piercings do have age requirements. For example:

• All oral piercings such as tongue, medusa, and lip start at 18 years and up.

• Facial piercings such as nostril, septum, eyebrow and bridge start at 15 years and up.

• All non-lobe ear piercings such as cartilage, rook, flat, daith, etc start at 15 years and up.

• All surface (dermal) piercings start at 18 years and up.

• Navel piercings start at 15 years and up.

• Nipple piercings and genital piercings start at 18 and up.

What forms of ID do you take?

We accept all forms of valid state-issued photo identification. This includes:

• Driver’s license

• Learner’s permit

• Passport

• Government ID

Do you tattoo minors?

Minor tattoos are up to the discretion of the artist. We will tattoo minors aged 16 and 17 with parental/legal guardian consent, and connecting ID’s/paperwork. We require the following for minor tattoos:

• Valid state issued photo identification from the parent/legal guardian.

• If legal guardian is not the parent, valid state issued paperwork must also be presented proving guardianship. This includes certificate of adoption, certificate of legal guardianship, certificate of transference of guardianship.

• Valid state/photo identification from the minor.

• Long form of birth certificate. (Short ‘ID’ card birth certificates will not be accepted.)
